Art of Business, East Coast Salon Services Merge To Become Ethos Beauty Partners

It's a new day for two venerable indie beauty companies. Art of Business and East Coast Salon Services have revealed the merger of these two individual companies to become what will be known as Ethos Beauty Partners. This merger of corporations, cultures, and resources aims to provide customers and manufacturers with a more robust and comprehensive distribution partner while maintaining the heritage and value of a family-owned business.

Joshua Hafetz and Kara Klet each represent the third generation of their respective families to step in to the family business. Their fathers, Howard Hafetz and Stan Klet, co-existed for decades as respected competitors. The two families have coincided, parallel but separate within the beauty industry… until now. East Coast Salon Services led by Kara Klet and Art of Business led by Josh and Howard Hafetz have embraced each other toward a new, stronger road forward – together as Ethos Beauty Partners. Ethos will be dually headed by Kara and Josh as an equal partnership merger. The official merger date is set for Jan, 3, 2022.

When the official merger takes place in the new year, customers will find the full collection of products and services that each company currently offers, available to them as a whole via Ethos Beauty Partners. Familiar customer service representatives, store personnel, and Sales Consultants will guide and serve the people and communities with which they have established relationships. A new website will launch, allowing shoppers to browse and order from the vast united catalog of brands and items. As reported in Happi, the professional beauty industry is on the rise in 2021.
